    AnswerStandard build time for lift chairs is 10-12 days, although some custom chairs take up to 6 weeks for certain options, such as Ultraleather upholstery. When you call to place your order, the sales representative who assists you will be able to give you a more accurate estimate of build time based on current demand and order volume.

    AnswerAll of our lift chairs are shipped directly from the manufacturer. If you choose a lift chair that is in stock, it will arrive at your home in 3 to 6 business days. If your selection is not in stock, it will be built for you; this includes lift chairs to be upholstered in custom fabric choices. Present manufacturing times are 7 to 15 business days. Shipping will take an additional 2 to 7 business days.     AnswerYour lift chair will arrive fully assembled, except for the batteries, which you or a technician must install. Extra-wide lift chairs may be delivered with the back removed for ease of shipping, and will require reattachment prior to use.

    AnswerEvery stair lift unit we carry was designed for a homeowner or handyman to install. It normally takes 2-3 hours to complete your first stair lift installation. Only commonplace household tools are required for an installation.

    AnswerWe do carry replacement batteries for stairlifts. Such batteries are 12-volt, 7 amp power supplies, and should work with nearly any brand of stair lift.
