About the AmeriGlide Ultra Supreme Stair Lift: The Ultra Supreme Stair Lift is a battery-powered stair lift that has a 300 lb. weight capacity. It comes with a cushioned, fold-up seat that swivels for easier transitions but that locks during transport up and down the stairs. The Ultra Supreme incorporates multiple safety sensors, a seat-belt, and brakes that stop the lift safely in case there is a problem with the drive system. Also, the hand-control uses a constant pressure switch that will stop the lift when you release your finger from the control. As a bonus, the Ultra Supreme comes with call/send wireless remotes for the top and bottom landings.
